When using a battery or converter an important thing to note is that the CPAP device will use considerably less power when humidification is not being used. (Except for AirMini which uses the waterless tabs and no heated tube.)

You can use both the ResMed S9 and AirSense 10 devices without humidification.

There are various battery and converter options available for CPAP devices. To help you know what is available and what is compatible with your device, we have compiled a list of them below;

The Medistrom Pilot 24 Lite Battery

Device Compatibility:

  • ResMed AirMini
  • ResMed AirSense 10
  • ResMed S9

Function:

The Function of the Medistrom Pilot 24 Lite battery is to power your CPAP machine when you do not have access to a powerpoint. This battery can charge your CPAP machine for 1-2 nights off a single charge. This can also act as a back-up power option. If main power cuts out then the Medistrom Pilot 24 will kick straight in.

The ResMed AirSense 10 12 Volt Converter

Device Compatibility:

  • ResMed AirSense 10

Function:

The AirSense 10 12 Volt Converter will allow you to power your AirSense 10 device through the cigarette lighter in your car or you can use the alligator clips that the converter comes with to connect the converter to a battery and power it that way.

The AirMini DC/DC Converter

Device Compatibility:

  • ResMed AirMini

Function:

The AirMini DC/DC Converter can be used to power your AirMini device using the cigarette lighter in your car. This is a great option for campers and caravaners alike.

The ResMed S9 12 Volt Converter
