On a daily basis, we catch up with people to review and maintain their CPAP equipment. One thing we are noticing is that people are simply neglecting to change their filters!
The filter’s role is to prevent dust and debris from entering the motor of your CPAP machine. By frequently changing your filter, we are reducing the risk of mechanical failure.
To change your filter, simply unflip the lid, take out your old filter, place in your new one. As you can see, it is a very simple procedure, but it will add life to your machine and improve your machine’s performance.
Every two weeks, check your filter for discoloration.
During that fortnightly inspection, give your filter a flick to remove any dust and debris.
We recommend changing your filter every three to six months. If you have any further questions, simply go to https://sleepright.com.au/cpap-filter…, or if you have any questions, call us on 1800 799 950.
So which side goes out, or does it not matter?
Just double checked the filters and they are the same both sides… so it does not matter.
