The ResMed AirSense 10 CPAP machine range have improved comfort and quality of treatment for patients and have also allowed us to play a more supportive role in your therapy.

ResMed AirSense 10 CPAP Devices

From a patient’s perspective, our CPAP therapy needs to tick a few boxes:

  1. Treat your sleep apnoea and snoring adequately
  2. Make minimal noise as to avoid disruptions through the night
  3. Be easy to use and clean
  4. Be easily transportable for people on the go

From our perspective, we want the CPAP device to:

  1. Control the sleep apnoea statistically
  2. Provide us with feedback
  3. Be easily adjustable

We have been working with CPAP devices since 2010. We have used all three brands but have, for the majority of this time used predominantly ResMed CPAP devices. From a business perspective, we would make significantly more money from selling the different machines, but from a quality perspective, in our opinion, the ResMed devices win hands down.

For our practice, being based in country Victoria, the Remote monitoring is a terrific feature. It allows us to provide speedy feedback and make changes for patients – which is particularly useful in the trial phase. It is convenient for our patient’s too as we can provide reports for their Doctors promptly prior to them heading to medical appointments. This data is also available to patients on a neatly presented LED colour screen and can be accessed on a computer using the MyAir platform.

The AirSense 10 device is smaller than the S9 device, when using the humidification. The tubs are easy to clean and we like how it can be slotted directly into the machine.

The heated tube works in conjunction with the humidifier. There are sensors within your equipment which give feedback to the device which will then adjust your humidity settings according to these ambient conditions.

The technology within the device is not only limited to the humidification. The Auto machine will also make changes to the therapy pressure based on feedback from each breath taken through the night. On top of this, there is also a setting that is specific for women’s breathing too.

The machines are available in CPAP (Fixed) and APAP (Auto titrating modes).

The machine’s can be powered using batteries or converters.

The device has a neat bag which allows for quick packing and ease of transport. With people travelling more and more for work and leisure, this is an important feature.

The ResMed AirSense 10 devices are a premium product which we have no hesitation in endorsing. If you would more information on the ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet, AutoSet For Her or Elite sleep apnoea therapy devices, please be in contact.
