The soft, stretchy, comfortable ResMed AirFit P10 Headgear assembly will need replacing more frequently than other headgears. While this can be annoying, The ResMed AirFit P10 in Australia, has been a very popular mask due to its comfort and abilityto not blow as much air out the frontof its exhaust. The AirFit P10 headgear clips which were released a few months ago, have been very helpful in helping the headgear to last longer.
Airfit P10 Strap
The AirFit P10 strap comes in two sizes: The Blue for Him and the Pink For Her strap. The Pink For Her AirFit strap is a little bit smaller in length but is the same size otherwise and is compatible with the For Him frame (they are the same frame). If you find your Blue For Him strap isn’t lasting as long, then perhaps you could try the Pink For Her strap.
The price of the strap is not cheap, but we have tried to sweeten this deal with our P10 replacement parts package which has had a lot of excellent reviews. Patients are appreciating the replacement parts as it gives them the new mask feel, without having to buy the whole mask.
Airfit P10 Nasal Pillow Headgear
By keeping your AirFit P10 nasal pillow headgear fresh, you will notice the quality of your therapy will be maintained. If the strap stretches and the mask starts to not fit as it should, you will notice a drop off in your therapy quality. Try the clips to start with, if this doesn’t work, then replacing your headgear will make a big difference.

I have found the p10 headstrap a complete piece of ripoff rubbish it is so over priced and doesnt last very long can’t wash it im now looking for something better i dont mind paying but having to chase anew band every 3 months is time wasting
Thanks for the feedback Dax. The strap can be washed but agreed, it would be better if they lasted longer. You could try the N30 headgear which lasts longer. The P30i is a bigger, similar mask with sturdier headgear so perhaps that is worth a look.
