In this video we run through how to self check your data on the ResMed S9 device.

Within the S9, you’ve got two different patient menus. The first one you would likely have stumbled across. You access it by simply hitting the info button. This screen will tell you:

  • How long you have used it for
  • Whether your mask sealed properly
  • Your AHI (total and partial blockages of the airway for 10 seconds or more)

Scrolling through to the second screen  will give you some more basic information.

The more detailed menu you may not be aware of is accessed by holding down the “info” button and the button with “2 ticks” at the same time for around 5 seconds.

The initial screen is the same but when you turn the dial to screen 2 you will see some more detailed information. You can change the period between 1 day, 30 days, 3 months, 6 months and 12 months.

You’ll be able to see within here:

  • Days used
  • Days used over 4 hours
  • Leak
  • AHI
  • Total AI
  • Central AI
