Touch Screen Interface
The ResMed AirSense 11 has a touch screen interface. This new addition has been designed to create a user-friendly experience, allowing ease of use when navigating the two available menus. A manual push button start/stop is still available as well as ResMed’s automatic Smart Start/Smart Stop feature
Improved Connectivity & Bluetooth Monitoring
The ResMed AirSense 11 has introduced two new connectivity features to help you get started and assist with compliance during your therapy. The ‘Personal Therapy Assistant’ and the ‘Care Check In’ features both provide guidance and troubleshooting advice for your therapy. These features are particularly beneficial for those starting out on CPAP therapy as it tailors advice and eases you into use of the device.
The AirSense 11 is compatible with the myAir app. This app transmits data from your machine to your smartphone, allowing you to access a general overview of how your therapy is going. It is a useful tool in tracking your therapy, showing you key stats such as your events per hour, mask leak and time spent using therapy. It is worth noting that the ResMed AirSense 11 is also compatible with AirView. AirView is a remote monitoring software that allows your CPAP provider to monitor and alter your CPAP therapy as needed. It also allows your provider to send detailed data to your Medical Practitioner and Health Specialists if required.
